Lionel’s Cab3 APP is available to download on both Android and iOS smart-devices.
For Android:
- Open the Play Store APP which is located in your list of icons on your phone. You will need to sign into your Google account to access this if you have one. If not, register and get a Google account.
- The Google Play store will open with a list of topics including Apps, Movies & TV, Books, Games, Music and Magazines.
- In the search bar at the top, type in “Lionel Cab3” and tap search.
- Once you see the app, tap the screen to choose it. Information about the app will be shown with an ‘Install’ button. Tap on the Install button and follow the instructions. It may ask you permissions to continue, tap Accept.

For iOS
Step 1: Open the App Store 
which is located in your list of icons on your phone.
Step 2: Tap on the search icon and type in “Lionel Cab3” and tap search.
Step 3: Once you see the app, tap “Get” and then tap on the Install button. It may ask you permissions to continue, tap Accept.

Opening the APP
Once the APP has been downloaded and installed, you’re ready to run! If you plan to run Bluetooth engines directly with Cab3, turn on your smart-device’s Bluetooth radio and then open the Cab3 APP.
If you plan to use the Cab3 APP with the Base3, you’ll not only want to turn on the smart-device’s Bluetooth radio, but also connect its Wi-Fi to the Base3. Click here for more info. Once connected to Wi-Fi, then open the Cab3 APP.
